Taken TRI I3 at 92 €

In the end, this was the IEM that I had been following for weeks and that I had planned to take for 11/11. Then I got some doubts, but at 92 € I couldn't resist.

I also took the balanced cable recommended by @LoryWiv

Congrats! 92 euros is a great deal. Do get a good source to power it and u are all set for audio nirvana.

My initial impressions after 24 hours, are that the Starseas are very detailed but do not have a bass or treble bias. I have not seen the frequency spectrum but I guess it is quite linear (more or less straight line) with the switches down.

For that reason I see them as an ideal "reference" set, which give you music as close as possible to the original mix. That is based on both switches down.

I think the drivers are quite capable of delivering a huge range but they are tuned for reference not for extra bass, mids or treble, so what you put in is what you get.

I have had them burning-in for about 72 hours so I need to check them out again as soon as I can get some quiet listening time.

 Hi friend, yes, thank you for your answer. Below is a picture of the Starsea tuning molds.

Can you post size comparison with starlight and i3? Are they the same humongous size?😄

Took a while but I did not forget your request. The I3s are slightly bigger than the Starlights but the Starlights (being resin as opposed to metal for the I3s) are much lighter. I like the weight of the I3s though. In either case once they are in your ears, they are quite comfortable.

I am not sure which IEMs you currently use, but the picture here shows the Tin T2 plus, the Blon BL03, the TRI I3, the Starlight and the Starsea, from top to bottom of the picture.

I hope it helps and you still have a couple of hours to order, sorry about the delay.

So it's time to come clean, and out of the closet, on the STARSEA. Im not going to hide. Using the balanced tuning, with all the switches up to ON/KE, this is superb. Yes a reference tuning.....but in a good, interesting, listenable way. Bass, midrange and highs are ALL centerstage in the mix. Soundstage is the nearest to sounding live I have heard and I am in a state of high pleasure using these. Soundstage and imaging are so good.
The Starsea's are different, but once again in a good way. There is enough bass, vocals position correctly, and highs and details all can be heard clearly and without glare. They suit me because they are a FLAT but musical listen. The only caveat is they bring vocals quite forward, (but only because they are not recessed... as in a V shaped IEM) in the mix and if you don't like that you won't like these. Mine are definitely brain burned in, I am used to their sound with the switches 'up/on' BALANCED setting. I am using them all the time and loving the music they play.

Hello,
Any impressions on the LARK? They seem to be larking
Just bought one. Will see and compare vs Ibasso IT01 and CCA C12!
