Silver copper or silver plated are better than pure copper for TRI I3?
Yew, IMO as the I3's top end is a bit sedate compared to bass and wonderful treble, and silver may accentuate top end a bit as compared to all copper, at least in general. I am enjoying the combination very much.
I only just had the chance to try out the TRI I3 and wrote down my impressions here! I found it a pretty interesting IEM and the sound was a pleasant surprise!

Ended up with an alternative (from a sanctioned brand name ), that was just as good as the KB Ear 5N UPOCC: link

I am not a metalhead, but I have a few friends who are, and they like multi BA types (BA bass) with metal for the faster speed. DD bass generally has decay and is generally slower than BA bass. My friends recommend the TRN BA5 for metal in particular. The TRN BA5 had a moisture problem with the first batch, where moisture would build up in the nozzles and cause intermittent sound cut out, I heard it has been fixed in newer batches, but best to buy from somewhere like Amazon with a good returns policy.
