In the last update they at least worked on the UI. I no longer receive a "Tidal has stopped working" message when I close the application, also the interface is not "soft" anymore.

Why not just upgrade to 10?

Happy Windows 7 user here. Waiting patiently for MQA over Tidal.

I have no need to upgrade to Windows 10.

I would be extremely ticked if Tidal released an upgrade that was not Win7 compatible.

Eventually you are going to have to upgrade mate, no way around that, but it isn't imminent. Not to mention, that article is out of date, for instance you certainly can pin apps to the start menu which it says you can't. I loved Windows 7, likely my favourite Windows version and I have been using Windows since Windows 95, but I think 10 is fine. I don't see what all the fuss is about personally.

Well for me the lack of Windows Media Center is the one issue that will keep me on Windows 7 for as long as I can.  If you use HomeRun Prime device WMC is a must until SiliconDust works out all the bugs in their standalone solution.

My bad, I thought you meant Media Player. I never used Media Center as I use JRiver for everything like that so I never had a need even under Windows 7. What is the advantages of Windows Media Center?

Hello everybody. Didn't know this thread existed.

I've been using Tidal for nearly a year now. I really like its sound quality, the ease of navigation, and the fact that you can easily discover new music whether its thru playlists or just browsing through the similar artists tab in discographies. However it does have a few drawbacks, chief among which is that many songs and artists are simply missing. Also the Android app is somewhat buggy and unstable. And at $20 its really expensive. These are my only complaints I guess.

Oh, and I'm currently looking for some nice female vocalists to listen to on Tidal, so throw at me your recommendations if you have any.

So many to choose from and all depends on music reference. Here are some female voises in my cup-of-tea: Soley, First Aid Kit, Sylvian Esso, London Grammar, Kwamie Liv, India Arie, Daughter, Yuna, Anna Ternheim, Birdy, Emmy The Great, Lamb, CocoRosie, Elsiane and many many more.
