female vocalist recommendations on Tidal:

Patricia Barber   Cafe Blue

Esperanza Spalding   Emily's D+Evolution

I've been addicted to Spalding's album - three tracks in particular -
since I started listening 6 weeks ago, the tracks are:

Judas
Earth to Heaven
One

in particular the last one, but t's good to try them together!

Finally, now I have a decent 4G network, I've joined Tidal, Will see how much data it uses to work out if I'll go beyond the trial.

Well, you could always download all your favorites at home and then use it offline.

I assume you mean download at home using wifi.
There is an option in settings "download over cellular "
Turn that off to ensure that you download over wifi without chewing through your data allowance.

I have a 20gb a month allowance on my cellphone, and a further 50gb across a dongle and an iPad, so sure I could get by...

Sure I'm not the first, not will I be the last to say this, however - I prefer the UAPP UI over native Tidal...

Happy either way.

You assume correct :)

Didn't mean to be patronising. ;)

Is that a UI for computer?

sorry, no, USB Audio Player Pro for Android.

I going to use UAPP on my Onkyo DP-X1, I hear its suppose to be better.
OK, I've demoted myself from a DAP to a phone, but even using UAPP without an external DAC, yes I can say it sounds significantly better than the stock player :)

I knew there were data caps in US and Canada, but didn't they were a thing in Europe too. No matter what internet provider you use here, nobody has data limits.

for cellphone usage? We have one provider that offers an unlimited tariff, but their speed and network are both a little sub-par.
