The write-up mentions 4 sound bores. So... is this a change from the MKII? How many does the II have?
If there's an additional one, I wonder if it might act as an air pressure vent. That would be welcome.

I see, thanks for that. So they just decided to mention it on their product page for the III and not the II.

In comparing them, I see there's an additional DD in the III compared to the II.

Oh, wow! Quite a drop in sensitivity. That is lower than HPs like Utopia, Meze Elite etc. MK2 was 108 dB and 36 ohms.

He says Monarch MKIII is the "best Monarch", but also says the original Monarch might be preferred by people who listen to genres different from what he listens to, such as jpop and kpop. Makes me wonder if I will also generally prefer the original, especially for artists like Amaarae and Kali Uchis. Who knows. I almost bought MKIII before bed last night, but I think I will practice self-control for once and see what people here think.
