Makes sense, with exceptions that they are obligated to have transparency on the status though.FWIW, and I know it annoys some buyers having to wait, I actually appreciate ThieAudio being so careful from a QA perspective in the production of the Twins. Better that than just trying to rush them out the door like the vast amount of other makers would do. At least a buyer now knows in advance of the long wait, and can make an informed decision. If you don't want to wait, understandable, but as a consumer, I appreciate the extra care taken in this case.
I placed an order, received an automated email saying "hey we will let you know when we ship", and left alone without any communications for almost a month on the status..
Hope they do engage and commit a bit more to public /customer relations.
By the way, I emailed them for a status update, I received feedback from Jessie Li of Linsoul saying "we aim to ship your order as soon as possible" (This is just a copy and paste template, well even a CHATBOT can do ) with no definitive timelines..
We need more commitment.
