They correctly state in the specs that it will play DSD files. No need for any brackets or further information for me. Any file when it reaches your ears is analogue and if it sounds good, there is no need to know what the DAC is doing.

What is important is to know what happens when it is digitally output, whether it be DoP or PCM.

DSD is effectively 16bit/176.4KHz so there is no downsampling taking place at least with standard rate DSD.

I am not noticing any increased precision in instrument location with high res files, just more space around the instruments and a bigger soundstage.
Are there any hi res files that have precise instrument placing?

Yeah, that 259 from a just launched seller is not real.

Fake Opus 1 or a scam to take your money and run?

I read in another thread people found a few too good too be true deals from just launched shady sellers where they have a disclaimer to contact them directly before making a purchase, indicating a faul play. If it's not fulfilled by Amazon, I would be cautious.

Yes, this is official seller distributor of Opus. I meant "no way" because i couldn't believe the price went down that low, and it includes a Dignis leather case.

Wow
