I use cable from Fiio X3 1 gen and it's work.
I don't know how much more jack connection affecting final coaxial plug.

After LDO 5V 300mA replace this section is a lot colder which is good but DSDs still don't run. Just AK4499 information and nothing happen.

Tested using 2 digital boards.
Old one from factor and newer from 9038. Still nothing only hearing audible discharge when boot up.

It's been a while since I copied music to my DSDs, and I haven't got any dsd iso or dsf files, but I knw that some DAPs can read a cover.jpg file in the folder with the music files.
Not sure about the DSDs devices, though.

Did you try placing the plain cover.jpg file in the folder with the music files, rather than trying to add it to them as a tag?
For instance:
Music/Artist-1
Music/Artist-1/cover.jpg
Music/Artist-1/track.iso
or
Music/Artist-1/track.dsf

I think that firmware 5.b may be the latest for the AK DAC units, and 5.c & 5.d were for the CS DAC units.
Try doing a search for firmware (top-right of the screen), selecting "This Thread", and you'll see the posts where firmware is discussed.

Zishan U1 arrive with 9038 DAC.
Have very similar audio relay as DSDs and close to identical sound as DSDs Dual 9038.
Looks like the same discrette single ended output and BUF634 can be adapted as well.

they (DSD/dsfs) really sounds great on this device compared my Cayin N3, Sony NW-A45, Activo CT-10
The Audiophiliac's Music Sampler 1, NativeDSD Sampler 1 and Blue Coast Remastered Collections almost sound 3D like
its a little brick of escape

Yes, DSDs or all Zishan on general have nice pleasing sound, but always can be a lot better with some mods

listening on the same set of earbuds/iems to the same songs of the same card, the DSD sounds better than the other three which have better features and a better UI.

Someone once commented that the device was built for playing DSDs versus other formats
It sounds like speculation until I listen to it
But like the Qngee X2 and the Acmee, its an uncomfortable brick to hold in hand/pocket
