Hello again mates, recently I got a DSD with single ak4497, but I can't play any files version 0.5; voltages over DAC are OK (3.3,1.8,5V). However, if I plug the GAD Dual AK4497 digital board works fine. So the question is anyone known which version should I use to get work single AK4497? I did try 0.4M, 0.5B, 0.4K and 0.4L and none can recognize the board.

Looks like you have got "Frankenstein" - digital board from Zishan DSDs and analog board from Zishan DSD.
I think I missed something to let you think that, let me rewind up again:
The device is a DSD with single AK4497 (second hand), the device simply didn't recognize the analogue board, I did try 0.4M,L, K, and I firmware on digital board which is marked as Z1_9325_3. But when I put the 0.4K (Dual AK4497) and 0.5B the device recognize the Dual AK4497 and AK4499 analogue board, so I ask for information of what I need to seek to make function the single AK4497 analogue board. Until now, I measure short in caps, voltage for 4497 (1.8,3.3,5V) are OK, LDO output voltage. Currently, I don't have an oscilloscope to see the i2s & i2c signals. I did find the relay simply tries to switch without success, also I don't understand the function of mosfet TPC8107 in the analogue device. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

I was decided to repair 5V section in DSDs D4497 because I can't achieve that good sound in Z4 with a lot of mods as well.
In Z4 i can't repair buttons section, they go crazy and change volume just like that. PCB in Z4 is tin low quality compared to two tick DSDs boards.
Last mod in my DSDs is BUF634A mod, it's most difficult for so far me.

Unfortunately after replace LDO 5V 150mA DSDs D4497 don't run. Can't recognize DAC, just showing 4499 like without DAC section.
LDO is very hot and I just shut down player becouse of that.
Where I can search problem?

This LDO after turn up goes very hot. Player showing AK4499. To prevent burning I just shut down player to prevent burning.
I solder this thing 3 times to make sure there is no short cut on it.
All other components are cold.

TI LP2985 max current 150mA. One AK4497 5v required current about 100mA, double 4497 about 200mA. May be LP2985 too weak? Try Torex XC6204 5v or TPS7A2050 - 300mA LDO

Can you guys please suggest appropriate cable to utilize DSDs' 3.5mm coaxial output to connect to external DAC with coaxial input?
We are still waiting for such solution officially supported by Zishan.
