Shall go and consult regarding the Red Halo. Thank you.Hey, I'm just a mirror, remember? Our kind doesn't specialize in the truth or come anywhere near it. For stuff like that you'd need to consult @HiFiHawaii808.

Come on in the water is fine. Please post your findings of the pairing. Have heard that is one of the best pairings for the iem.Going ALL IN!!!![]()
I mean, that's basically the difference (of course without the sub bass boost) between a Shangri-La (Senior or Junior) and a Susvara, they still sound close in the end...622B to me was more of a warm neutral with sub bass boost tonality whereas Storm was more of a bright neutral with sub bass boost sound.
I got a pm regarding Eliseaudio and their customs duty, that's what i answered:
Most likely not, i talked to Eliseaudio and they said they have to declare the full value, so it's 3400€+20%.
The Canpur.eu website where i left a message did not talk to me back, so i have no idea what's going on there, sadly...
That's a big YIKES, but it's of course still way less than a Storm or an Amber Pearl...
The only other big shop that has it was Musicteck, but those are US, and on top of an additional 20% it will take a while until it gets to you, which should be way quicker from Eliseaudio since they're from the UK. They said it will only take 2-7 days.
I have extremely high hopes in this IEM and that this purchase will be the last big one for a while.
I had an extremely long waiting time when i bought my Annihilator, i searched for a chance to buy it when the 2023 version wasn't out yet (only teasered), and from the only place to buy it (Zeppelinandco) the price was astronomical with a very long waiting time too, in the end i saw one in the classified from a guy in Australia, i bought it and it took some time to arrive, but it was totally worth.
I didn't want to repeat the waiting game "mistake", especially because the Canpur will only get more popular, so if i really don't like it i can probably sell it near MSRP again in the classified...
Cheers

I am also now in the position where i know what i really like in terms of sound signature (basically forward midrange is a dealbreaker, i also love well extended treble and soundstage), and the Canpur seems to fullfill that.
On top of that, everyone that heared said it's by far the best BCD implementation, so that's extremely interesting for me.
As i wrote, if i dislike it i can probably sell it without too much of a loss.

I have the Simfonio paired with the Cayin N7 and love it. I really get to enjoy the pre amp with the discrete circuit of the N7. I do find it does need 20 minutes to warm up just like the little card they ship with it states.Promising start into 2024 - a new toy has arrived...

No experience of mainland Europe, I had a musicteck order placed on a Sunday arrive in the UK within 72 hours. Andrew is one of the best in the business

Yeah I would agree, just talk to AndrewNo experience of mainland Europe, I had a musicteck order placed on a Sunday arrive in the UK within 72 hours. Andrew is one of the best in the business
Hans of Canpur came back to me within 2 days so you should be just fine. They may have a bit of a backlog over Christmas and New Year or, as a small company, may even be closed for the holidays and be out with the kids for this school holiday week - weird things people do...The Canpur.eu website where i left a message did not talk to me back, so i have no idea what's going on there, sadly...

+1 Andrew / Musicteck. Buy there, chose DHL Express. If you order today, you will have the IEMs by Monday, with a lot of luck by Friday. End of 2022, I ordered the Evo on a Wednesday evening (in GER, early afternoon in NJ) and it arrived Friday at noon in Munich.
Shouty usually is from treble, don't know what is a shouty midrange.Shouty midrange
