Just a few weeks ago, I had sent out an email to Effect Audio for a chance to demo the Code 23 cable. And by the grace of @JordonEA, I’ve been given the opportunity to demo this cable for the past two and a half weeks. Since then, I’ve been trying to dissect its characteristics and it is my pleasure to announce that I’m finally ready to share a more conclusive opinion with everyone.
Here, I’ve not only analyzed the general sound signature of Code 23, but also dove deeper into comparisons with Effect Audio, PWA, and Eletech flagship lineups. Most specifically –
- Magnus 4-wire
- Orpheus Shielding
- Chiron
- Centurion
- Cleopatra II
- Cleopatra II OCTA
- Eros S
- 1950s
- Ode to Laura

You understood what I meant with TriHybridEclipse sound like a massive open back headphone at the moment, with a deep and visceral sub woofer - unreal. Maybe I'll finally become a cable convert, courtesy of @PLUSSOUND!

I bought this album a few weeks ago and forgot about it. I was browsing my P6K in preparation for going for a walk, and decided to give it a listen - a really fantastic album… a side project by Jesse from Midlake with Rachel Goswell from Slowdive featuring on a few tracks, so good I played it again when I got home! Really upbeat vibes, a feel good type album.

Nah, feeling good is overrated. Half empty makes the world go 'roundReally upbeat vibes, a feel good type album.
How is your Allegro experiment going? Half full? Half empty? Undecided?

Oh I listen to plenty of doom and gloom music too!
I’ll be spending time with Allegro later today and will share my thoughts - it won’t be for me unfortunately regardless as I definitely won’t get along with the large shells…

Assuming this product is mostly made for the Asian market both size and shape are baffling, I'd say.Oh I listen to plenty of doom and gloom music too!

Finally received my AüR Audio Neon Pros. Thanks for top notch support and communication Nicholas!
First impression is really good. Musical with full and fast BA bass, excellent midrange, and spatious treble (as far up as I still have hearing). Rather bulky but with good fit using Tri Clarion tips which I can recommend.
These are better than my Fearless S8Zs in their special department of midrange detai and female voices, better than my Yanyin Moonlights in musicality and overall full range performace, better than my TM Lands in the bass department.
Last but least these I enjoy more over the former benchnark of UM Mest MkIIs which also suffer from poor fit for extended listening sessions for me.
The Neon Pros have excellent tuning and are punching way above their price range. Really good bass fidelity for an all BA set and IMO no BA timbre to speak of. Not to mention the looks and attention to detail.
Kudos to Abel and AüR Audio!

I was gifted these AKG 400nc tws and they make a pretty darn good travel setup with the Shanling M0 pro they actually sound as good as your average £100 wired iems.
The cathedral in Ely, England is one of the most impressive buildings I've ever been in - this reminds me of it.Marvelous Architecture.
Thanks, I'm contemplating one of these - love the green, seems a bit chonky to me though.
