I dont have the Baroque tips but I do have the Divinus wide tips. But I tried all the tips I have but its more like nozzle angle that's the issue. Like for my right ear, the shape causes the sound to be blocked and such 🫠

Thats beautiful, what is that case.

Alright Boys! I'm in process of getting Macbeth and if things work out I'll have it by June 15th. Now let's talk synergy. What's the best portable setup for macbeth, no ambition cable for now [I'll be too broke by just getting Macbeth, lol]. I'm considering MOJO 2 as a pairing.

I really wanted Macbeth over Omega from the start due to it's better comfort and fit and after discussion also got keen into Spectrumica, Jewel and Vision Ears but I now am going with Macbeth due to my library. Will try these in future but I already feels great to be in the watercooler thread with Macbeth. I now just hope the deal goes smoothly and customs don't kill me.

AMP+DAC I'm considering: MOJO 2, DC-Elite, or I'd even consider a DAP [used] around $700 if the synergy with Macbeth is that great. I'd love it being more musical and warm and I know it's a bit energetic so taming that a bit and making it not fatiguing. Thanks!
Macbeth and Mojo 2 should be excellent for your classical music albums. I would also consider the FiiO M17 Digital Audio Player, that I mentioned in my previous post to you.
Incidentally, it seems I should have recommended the Ice Lab Prismatica instead, since it is better suited to classical/orchestral genres than is Spectrumica (not to mention being half the price!).

I hope you like your Forte Ears earphones. I have met the owner/designer of this company on two separate occasions, and he is a nice guy, with good taste in music. I suggested to him that his next set of IEMs should be called "Porgy & Bess", so it will be interesting to see if that eventuates.

With every purchase it feels like I'm getting a little closer to that sweetspot...

Moses was incredible, but the bass didn't cut it for me

APX SE had the best bass I've heard in an IEM, a really respectable midrange, but the planar treble had a really metallic feel to it. I could pair it with something dark, which made it really natural, but I'm too much of a treble head for that. I am also too much of a treble head to live with treble that I don't love or find suboptimal

(I don't think APX SE treble is bad per say, it's just too clinical in its decay and speed)

Elysian X is the next candidate. I actually bought it because of how good of an impression its treble left on me during my Elise audition, and my ears weren't wrong

I didn't know I had so much artistry in me. Hope she finds it cute.

Notice the shape of the cable.

Audiosense DT600. A very decent pair. Chose to gift these cause they're my most feminine pair and their ergonomic design.

I was counting down for both Moses and APX SE as our tastes are too similar for you to have a fair chance. 😜

It's insanely good. I had mine for a year and had an issue with the right shell. I bought it secondhand a few years ago and MT was kind enough to hook me up with the folks at Effect Audio who worked as my liason to Mr Lee at Elysian. That was early October. I paid a nice sum of money to essentially upgrade the shells, etc. The hardest part was the wait. I didn't get it back until late March this year. However, it was worth the wait. Paired with the LL Venom cable and the N30LE or the DX 320 Max or LP P6 Pro it doesn't matter...it absolutely soars. I'm with you...a big treble person and this unit just soars. The soundstage is wide. The data retrieval is unreal. It's bass isn't Xe6 level, but that doesn't bother me. It's got adequate punch and just delivers a sound that is ever so sweet to my ears. I voted it in the last poll as one of my 3 favorites. Congrats on making the turn into X. The only thing that has suffered is my listening to MB and APX Se...LOL.

I’ll give the venom another try… I love the cable, but I felt like the odyssey improved the dynamics a fair bit. Might’ve just been the initial playing around with tips and the fit though

Definitely not a cable I’d like to see go to waste in some long forgotten drawer

I have a feeling this might be a keeper for me. As mentioned, the love of treble is the main thing, but I also don’t feel like I’m ā€œlisteningā€ to the IEM as much as I’m listening to my music through the IEM if that makes any sense

I haven't, so you're good 🤭

Stay away from it, let me enjoy it in peace

🤣 No worries, Elysian and I don't have a bond.

the current Elysian and Mysticraft IEMs could honestly not be more different from the OG X and the Anni21… I went from being one of the biggest skeptics to basically a full lineup of Lee stuff (and my old customs)
