Enjoying a beer in Dingle, which is probably my favourite town in Ireland - tucked away in the South West… one of the driving routes involves a rather white knuckle segment through the mountains called ‘The Conor Pass’ - definitely not for the faint hearted, and especially as we drove through yesterday there was a thick fog and I could only see a few feet ahead of me! There are a few points where simply two cars cannot pass each other, and one has to reverse to a spot which allows the other to pass. Anyway, I’ve done it a few times and the views are incredible in clear weather.

Time with 1ZM2 and Mecha before going out for dinner.

If anyone wanted an APX SE now is the time, I may pickup one for my son. I told him if he gets all A's and one B he can have a set.

Damn, I get all A's and all I get is not getting spanked with a belt or slippers.

I’m biased of course, but the Clara Ti, Timestream Ultra and P6ProTi99 chain is very satisfying and engulfing.
Great upgrade cable! Got it for my Bonneville, and very happy with it :)
@slumberman - been awesome meeting with you at CanJam Dallas and chatting with you for a few minutes!
Ken found a great guy to collaborate with. Kudos to both of you!!

...not to mention this all time - driving on the wrong side of the road! :smirk:

Bonneville getting use every week, really curious how the Clara would be. Budget used up for this year, with last purchase being a headphone and amp. Fun thing the Bonneville sound great on the Cayin HA-2A desktop tube amp, tried it for fun to see how it worked as tubes and IEMs is very mixed. Helps that the amp has impedance switch, also has less power on the 4.4mm socket.

Also I can watch the VU meters while listening to music

Do you prefer Timestream Ultra to Euclid with Clara?
It depends on the DAP, with TSU. With Clara , I think TSU is a bit more pronounced in the treble therefore it does work well for me with R2R. Euclid tends to do its thing regardless of DAP which is great, though it tends to contain a bit of the DD’s largeness to my ears. Soundstage is nice and large with it though, and everything else is where it needs to be.

that said, the cable I use the most is the basic, Timestream Duet. It’s a bit softer overall and I feel it embodies Clara’s spirit … it’s the cable we used to tune it.

Looks like Eminent Ears has another iem, following the trend with BCD mids.

Anyone here heard it yet?

American beer in Dingle? :fearful: What Kilkenny is no good anymore?

Cheers!

Yes indeed 😂 - I defaulted to my preference for in the fridge at home for the fridge where we are staying!

Here are some shots of more local beers 🍻

An IPA tonight from Killarney, another town in County Kerry.

And a Guinness last night…

Oh and the local ice cream earlier today:

We’ve not been yet but a very famous Irish pub here in Dingle… plan to drop in tomorrow.

Last but definitely not least, this was where my love for Dingle began over 32 years ago when I first came here with two friends on a hostel trip - the building looks much the same and I’m pretty sure we stayed in the middle room upstairs.
