I was on the fence for a while, but I simply don’t use them often enough to justify keeping them. If I am indifferent on keeping gear in this class, it should be listed imo. After all, the amount I get from selling them is still greater than nothing, and the amount can go towards gear I feel more strongly about. You have customs right? It might not even be worth the proceeds from the sale...

Please guys, have mercy! That was 65 pages of Watercooler in way too many hours. I may have to cancel my new job before I even start...
But, such is the nature of this thread!
My personal top 1 of things to never ever hear again on a desert island would be tinnitus for sure. It has become almost unbearable over the past 40-ish years bit by bit, and it has peaked during the past 2 years. It must be total coincidence that I'm using IEMs since then, right? It was my biggest annoyance during my 10 years, 10 months, and 10 days of travelling: Sitting on remote mountain tops in the Andes, on enormous dunes in the Sahara, or on the Mongolian steppe, and always being surrounded by that horrendous orchestra of high pitched notes screaming for attention.

I think this one suits better with the Oooh-ooh-whoa-ah!
Can anyone recommend a desktop DAC/AMP that has at least the same performance in terms of sound quality as the SP3000? I assume these DAPs are so expensive because of the technology and because they are an "all-in-one" portable device. So I assume that something like a desktop DAC/AMP can be cheaper and yet better. Any tips?
In the past, I have tested the CA1000T, Hugo2, Hugo TT2, ADI-2 (Pro SE) and others and they were not "better" for me, not even "equal" in sound quality.
What sonic qualities of the SP3000 do you like most? I think I know, but I'm hesitant to make a suggestion without hearing it from you first.

Yeah, that's true, still not a trivial amount recovered. Good luck on some great sales!

The search for optimal synergy, from tips to amplification, is nothing but essential.

I would be down for a meet. I live in Hermosa Beach
I’m in SF so SoCal, or Vegas isn’t an issue. I’d rather not do East Coast for a 1 day thing though.
I'm okay with either SoCal or Vegas. I know dealers in both places that are very friendly and generous to Head-Fiers in terms of sharing their spaces. The main benefit of SoCal is that it's closer to many of us here, such that we can just drive and make a day of it. The main benefit of Vegas is that we can fly there and make a weekend of it. I'm thinking of sometime in January, after all the holiday madness. Thoughts @emdeevee @fejnomit @stacey @wolfstar76 @Sebastien Chiu @Zachik @XERO1 @moedawg140?

If it's in SoCal, 100% I'd be there. Vegas would be 50/50 for me.

I've been fortunate to spend some time with the Night Jar Blue Hour cable this past week. Blue (along with purple) are my favorite colors and this cable is one of the most classy and beautiful I've ever seen. I was expecially excited to see it with Monachaa but I love it along side the striking gold/yellow of the Fei Wan just as much.

It is the start of a lazy Sunday over here already. Decided to give the Luxury & Precision LP6 TI 7th Anniversary Edition a run out with the FitEar MH335ht/Electech Aeneid. Fed via Spdif by the DX320X. Great way to start the day any day, frankly.

But I don't know is it depends on the one who took the picture?

I like the yellow alongside the blue as it gives off the vibe of twinkling stars in the vast inflnite blue sky. This cable's hardware just adds to that effect.
@Rockwell75 beware of polarity with Nightjar’s cables, because they haven’t a curved preformed design like on other cables, it’s easy to inverse polarity when attaching the cable to the iems, it seems it’s the case on your pic if this cable is wired like my vanguard.
With the vanguard I figured out that the right way of plugin it to iems in order to have the same polarity was when the same side was visible on the external part of both iems like that :
Here you can see the center “hole” line between pins is visible on each iem external side.

Vegas has so many flights with deals that go in/out of it and pretty much eating all day/night long.

OH man, I love the color scheme of the FW! Almost makes me want to buy it just for the looks. After seeing it several time on photo only, I think the color of Fei Wan is okay.

I might be in the minority here, but those tips are the most uncomfortable bad sounding tips I’ve ever used@Rockwell75 beware of polarity with Nightjar’s cables, because they haven’t a curved preformed design like on other cables, it’s easy to inverse polarity when attaching the cable to the iems, it seems it’s the case on your pic if this cable is wired like my vanguard.

Symbio ?
I personally like them (fit & sound), and even more their new revision (not the one on this pic).
Btw that was not really the subject of my initial post but that’s fine
