But what if Jeremy was wrong too??? A date of birth in a passport is just someone's best guess. Mine is wrong too. Tells me I'm 54! I swear to God I can't be over 34 for sure!Oh how you doubt me... even when straight from the horse's mouth!
Now, kidding aside, I'll share a part of an email conversation with a friend from Surabaya, Indonesia from a few months ago:
She: "Yes yes the party is still on but the schedule changed because my mom changed my birthday from 29 to 30 of Jan. And she still wasn’t sure, so from this year until further notice by my mom, my birthday is Jan 30."
Me: "She forgot when you were born??? Oh well... It's a detail after all... "
She: "I am totally speechless, this is the third time she change it. When I was in kindergarten to elementary school, it’s 31. Then it changed to 30 when i was in junior high, then 29 from senior high to last month, then it came back to 30. Haha. So my age is 3x since I celebrate birthday 3 times a year. Thus, I am 105 now, much older than you! And I remember all the historical detail of this birthday discussion with my mom."
