I loved RS6 dimensions but not it’s weight, I hope R6 gen.3 and R6 Pro II are lighterWait for the release of the HiBy R6 Pro II March/April...
@gLer Will you review R6 gen.3?

I am a little worried about the fitting and seal since its shape.Posted over on the 634 ears thread, but just got myself a new toy in, the 9iNE. They look incredible and the build quality is great. Looking forward to spending some actual time with these.
Also wondering if that weight is because of its intervals or “just” the chassis.I loved RS6 dimensions but not it’s weight, I hope R6 gen.3 and R6 Pro II are lighter

Both are 130x73x15mmAlso wondering if that weight is because of its intervals or “just” the chassis.
And next question is if RS6 and R6 III are playing in the same class considering price difference (and DS vs R2R)
Why not miroak?I had my LOAK-T by my side all day today while working, popping them in at any opportunity! I’d say I’ll go for 9iNE next.
Yes, both.I loved RS6 dimensions but not it’s weight, I hope R6 gen.3 and R6 Pro II are lighter

Im not having any seal issues, but its definitely a shallower fit than some others and I am using larger eartips than I otherwise would on a deeper fitting IEM.I am a little worried about the fitting and seal since its shape.
Blacker background and as a result more resolution due to lower noise floor. EMI/RF is a real problem and it gets into everything, Trying to keep it out of your setup is important. I currently run my digital-in DAC cable into a faraday bag that blocks it all and my analog IEM cable is also shielded. Running portable devices gives you cleaner power than plugging, one of the unique benefits of a portable setup is that good stuff often punches above because it doesn't have any dirty power issues but it can have EMI/RF so keep your phone away from it. My DAC will pickup tons of EMI/RF from my phone if I don't. Another thing is a wireless server like the Pi2AES can avoid a lot of this interference, interfacing it with your DAC via optical-have yet to do it but have heard a lot of testimonials that the jump in quality is significant. Laptop ports are notoriously dirty.Hi Coolers
What are the advantages of SQ that a cable shielding has over an one cable non shielding ?
This is the conclusion I came to as well when I had N8ii RS8 1ZM2 and SP3K all together, and even M9 and DX300 Max when I had those earlier. I like them all, they all perform at a similar level just with different flavours of synergy and some pros/cons to all of them in terms of UI, build quality, power output, amplification noise, battery life etc.I've heard all those DAPs including the SP3K and feel they're all great in their own way-- I think one could be happy with any one or combination of them depending on the type of sound and synergy they're after. I enjoyed the SP3K but I don't beleive it to be a clear cut above the rest-- again it depends on what one is after. I was only responding to your statement that not having SP3K implies a "serious lack" in a collection.
Literally my most hated signature, thin light notes, bright. lolSome dismiss Crinacle's reviews as they don't tally with their own, but reading his review of Mellianus his findings are exactly how I hear them, and have only started really liking them after switching to foam tips after a few months of often struggling listening using silicone ones:
"It’s a rather thin-sounding IEM. The tuning does sound balanced but also somewhat underwhelming, with a strong focus on technicalities and not much else. Slightly bright-leaning tonality and benefits from the use of foams as it can take the hit in transient response".
Crinacle.
It's good to have a reference now when I look at his ratings.
I won't be in attendance. However, The following caught my attention.Building up to CanJam...what is on everyone's radar right now?
