What do you enjoy about the IE900? Can you compare it to any other IEMs? I had the MEST 2 but didn't really connect with it.

Ha Ha Ha, for once the TZ is an advantage for me, I had expected these emails to go out at the start of each day US time and I wouldn't have any chance at them. Compared to Mest? the bass is on another level , much better bass. Where Mest has a kind of "one note bass" , the 900 shows you detail and layers.
i also feel like the 900 is more detailed across the spectrum. the detail retrieval is really great.the 900 doenst feel like an typical 1 DD iem for me. Treble has more bite to it and is not that "smoothed out" like most EST iems are , mids are a matter of taste , most people seems to like more gain in upper mids nowadays , but i dont really like all this pinna gain iems.. its unnatural for me.
You just need to swap from this stock tips.. awful , i use them with spin fit cp145.

On the subject of IE900, I hadn't listened for a few days but popped them back in this morning to listen to what's fast becoming one of my favourite albums of 2021 - sounds absolutely stunning and reaffirms for me yet again why it's one of the best in my collection. The album by the way is wonderful melodic electronic with a nod to the 90s but still sounding fresh... highly recommended if thats your thing
Edit - just to add, I've been listening to this album mostly on MEST MKII over the last couple of days and been loving it. The switch to IE900 today moves it up so many notches and introduces a massive dose of emotional connection, the desire to stop anything else I am doing and just immerse myself in the experience.
Oh and @ranfan - I'm very curious about the HS2000MX...

The thing with MEST MKII is that it is technically engaging but lacks emotion for me.
