Got to try the @EffectAudio Eros S again today, thanks to a dear friend. Absolutely loved it with my newly acquired Softears RSV and my friend's Thieaudio Monarch MK2(TBH liked the MK2 for the first time ever). RSV feels like it gets a steroid injection with the Eros S showcasing better resolution & clarity, Treble region shows better energy and an overall more lively signature compared to the stock cable.
Monarch's separation and resolution get a tad bit of more boost with the Eros S, with the SpinFit W1 Tips, they sound quite good now. Here are some images from today's meetup hehe.

Live at Vidro ‘77 & A Letter from Slowboat.
The former I had to order from a Japanese music shop as CD. The latter I got off bandcamp but only available as CD.
Pm me. You can mail me a flash drive and I’ll copy for, along with other stuff too, if you’d like. I have an enormous and eclectic jazz collection. Cheers
Oh I do have Slowboat, just Live From Vidro '77 is missing.
I would love be it if we could move on from this. Nearly every conversation over at Computer Audiophile devolved into an argument between those who assume it is impossible that digital media, cables, reclockers or servers have any influence on sound from a DAC and those who have actually done extensive research into the topic and hear vast differences. It gets very old very fast and its why I had to leave that forum. Personally my experience is categorically the opposite of yours. I hear distinct and repeatable differences in sound whether my data is coming cover WiFi, local storage, ROM, through a USB cable (and then which USB cable) etc. You can theorize all you want that this is impossible because of buffering but empirically this is not my experience nor the experience of countless others. I posted about the Phasure Lush USB cable before. Pick one up. Play around with it. If the different dip settings don't change thr sound for you then you know you don't hear it. But as has been urged before: believe or don't believe it, hear it or don't hear it, but just can wr please stop trying to convince others that our experience is more valid than another's. Thanks
That's not what empirically means. Your subjective hearing experience is yours to keep and enjoy, it is not a definitive value though.

There is no reason to "move on". Some people hear a difference and some people don't.

Enjoy yourself and don't let other people sour your experience. But don't sour the experience of others as well.

Jewel

Unboxing experience 0/10 or maybe I'm just stupid, that tin with the sliding lid had me confused for a while.

Everything else, close to perfect. Still not an IEM that immediately blows me away. I will give it the time it deserves to reveal all its strong points. Immediately I am drawn to the technical capabilities of it. They're certainly worth keeping, I just have to justify it for the price...

Sorry for the out of focus phone pic, as you can imagine I couldn't be bothered to retake it

Andrew usually send a email on how to open that box. I didn't need it it wasn't the first time I've seen something like that.

Ok Watercooler fam, I don't know about those who have been in this hobby a long time but dang, initial impressions is that this is pretty end game sounding to me. How can you improve upon what the Indigo delivers across the frequency spectrum? Does it really get that much 'better' or is it really about musical and sonic preferences? It is an improvement over the Solaris 2020, yes, in some regard but is it worth over $2K more? Questionable. They are stunning looks wise, and more comfortable that's for sure.

I listen to a bit of everything genre wise but a lot of music from Japan. If I had to narrow it down, pop, metal, house, jazz, orchestral...

Jewel handles it everything well, if not perfectly, especially classical pieces. But I've always been more into having specialized IEM for different moods and genres.

I am one of those who have echoed that the indigo can definitely be Totl endgame for many in this hobby and compliment my other endgame IEM the aroma Jewel they both have their differences that one does better than the other. It's up to the person what they preference.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. I personally wish the build quality was a little better. But the sound is amazing.
