I would say Van Nuys, but you already crossed that out. It's very nice but I suspect that I cannot put the DAP with IEM attached, I need at least 22 cm for DAP + IEM and the Miter case is 18.9 mm

I def will. You prefer stock over first times as well?Let me know what you think of the pairing. I’m still slightly preferring stock for now
Yes, this is also a good case when you need to store a player and iems.
mids seem to be more forward, slightly faster bass, but I feel like it slightly takes away the bird‘s color/flavorI def will. You prefer stock over first times as well?
In your opinion what does the Venom provide to the signature of the bird?
The DDHIFI 2021 case might work. They should be available on Aliexpress. It fits my N8ii and two iems. Can you please recommend a storage case where I can put my DAP with IEM attached at home not to have it laying around without protection?
I was thinking of something like this Miter case but smaller.
I want it very easy to open (so no Vannuys or Pelican) and it won't be used to travel, just to have a place to easily put and remove the DAP several times a day.
Thanks!
I have the CIEM. Posted impressions a couple of weeks back here. Will hopefully get to hear the UIEM soon too. Yeah, CIEMs are way tougher to measure properly. My measurements do align with CustomArt's but had to tweak the fit in the coupler a couple of times for it to measure in line with CustomArt's measurement. I personally quite like F7U CIEM's tuning but the UIEM's graph looks even better for my own preferences, at least on paper.Have you heard the uni or just the CIEM? The universal graph looks great, but I know graphing CIEMs can be iffy.
On the contrary, I find the EXT 2pin bit too tight. I dread damaging them while trying to remove and hence kept them on. Also I don’t find any reason to change the cable as the first party ones seem to be pretty good to meFor EXT owners (and other IEM owners with similar experiences), can I pls check if you experience loose fitting with your cable and EXT’s 2-pin connector portion? I’ve tried EXT with a number of cables and both ears’ IEMs get dislodged from their cables quite (too) easily, which compels me to be extra careful (bordering on paranoia) and relegating it to desk-top use. I appreciate and am mindful of the contention regarding the fraility of the 2-pin vs other types of connectors. Thanks in advance!
Life has become a bit too complicated lately...passing of my father, a lot of backlogged review obligations, demands increasing in my professional life, personal improvement study...yeah, it's a lot more complicated now. I cannot find the mental stability to collect my thoughts and write them down. Not the best year of my life...but I'm getting by. Trying to catch up on this thread...I think I am about 400 pages away."This too shall pass" applies in multiple ways here...
I keep looking for you and some others that were to be found near the cooler each and every day 8-9 months ago (@Mehran, @blotmouse and @Ace Bee and plenty others). I hope they're all doing well!
Am I assuming correctly you are too busy currently starting up the new school year?

Same issue with my Indigo. Tried it with my moon audio copper dragon and the 2 pin fit was better..unfortunately the sound wasn’t . So sticking with the stock cables.I have a loose left side Indigo too, and worst thing is Indigo is my go to while I'm on the go now. Luckily I haven't drop it so far. For now what I'm trying to do is the bend the pins on the cable a little to get a tighter fit. Don't suggest my method unless you don't intend to change cables
For my LX/Phantoms, have changed cable multiple times without any issue over the past 4 years, recessed sockets makes it more secure imo
Can you please recommend a storage case where I can put my DAP with IEM attached at home not to have it laying around without protection?

I have that one as well for SP2K and Erlkonig. But I’m not sure it can fit the DAP @Andricop wants to fit. This one is pretty nice in my opinion. You can‘t leave the IEM connectet if you want to close it, but if you stand up the DAP, you can put the IEMs behind it.
