IME, hobbyists (not just in audio, to be sure) at the top end especially won't be satisfied until the maximum price is paid. It's no judgment on my part. It is what it is, and part of why I (luckily) bailed out of summit-fi years ago. I'm totes fine being a peasant in mostly mid-fi/not-quite-hi-fi land, hahahaha.

You need to check out the Oriolus Traillii thread. There are a lot of owners of that IEM. It sold for $6000 and the price was just raised on 5/1/21 to $6600. This one is second place. The people who are buying this IEM are on the UM Mason FS Thread.
