Yet another example of AliExpress hardware not following the USB-C standard. It's been almost a decade at this point (2014-2023), just add the dang resistor!
hi, really interesting conversation. Learning a lot from this forum, and bought a pair of spinfit's and cables today.
Intro aside I have a couple of questions. 1) does anyone make standard high quality (but under GBP 100) cables to use to attached the shure 846 to the go blu. 2) I really want to get the https://ifi-audio.com/products/go-pod/ but seems they are only selling it paired with IEM's. does anyone have any color on this?
I am really enjoying learning more.

I think that 2 fonctions are really missing to the "around ear" bluetooth adapter (KZ, UTWS, Shure TW gen 2,....) :
- the multipoint function
- autopause function.
I do not understand why in 2023, Shure, BT or Fiio has not developped a new gen BT adapter with those function (it should not be too difficult with BT 5.3) when all the chinese companies have done so. I am currently using a neck lace BT5.3 LDAC adapter bought on Aliexpress which are perfectly driving my Maestro Mini and immediately connecting to my PC and my Phone when powered on.
TWS adapter by its nature of design need to connect the left/right earpieces to each other and to the smartphone, so in a way it is already a multi-points connection in its own way. The problem is usually because of each connections will take up more BT bandwidth and thus decreasing the stability that manufacturers don't like to implement it. Not that it is impossible, just hard to do well enough not to be a new issue on its own .

I'll say it is really good but won't elaborate more than that. I like iFi as a company but don't like how they decided to bring GO Pod to the market this time around so I'll keep my opinion to myself.

All the feedback is highly appreciated, be it good or bad, so thanks for yours too! We're aware that not everyone is happy about seeing bundles first, but standalone GO pods should become available soon. Thanks!
