It's still mostly universal. Host devices change up all the time (USB B, USB 3.0 B, miniUSB, microUSB) as long as the other end is USB A, it's all good.I was also not aware of the type B connector difference...weird choice changing the connection type of the UNIVERSAL Serial Bus...
I guess this just emans that we need to get everything on the Type C connector.
Believe me, when I first got into computers, all the various ports will make your head spin. (Serial, parallel, SCSI, midi, PS/2, Midi, etc). USB is a muuuch better approach.
