I think I saw the first cable in a photo of @ToneDeafMonk with the Quattro. Maybe he can advise you on this synergy.
Another option within your price range could be this one, which our colleague @-rowan- always recommends (and some others, forgive me, but I don't remember who was the original discoverer). I myself have one on the way with the New Year sale.

Both good offers imo.
Still use the second one with my 10th AE and like that combi a lot...
Have the first one on order but has not arrived yet...

I do notice with change of tips just how much bass you want from the Quattros. Some might prefer the full on bass but some might want a more balanced take. Just know if you guys feel the Quattro can be a bit too bassy for you. Try some of your other tips.

At this point, since the Orange and black tips from Penon matches so well with the Quattros. It is a no brainer to order a set while ordering the Quattros. Not to mention they will give some of the best seal for any type of tip out there.

The new NEO3 is not as tip sensitive as the Quattros but they benefit huge from larger wider bored tips vs anything narrow. On this partiuclar IEM the wider the bore the grander the sound is what it comes down to.
If you don't mind, can you link to the orange tips being raved here? Thanks. Want to try them on the Fan2's

It's official: the more I listen to quattro's the more I like them.
Today I woke up early and did a little music listening session and I was so satisfied that I have the feeling that the day will even go better for me :o2smile:

I recently bought an Impact but I still don't have solid impressions because I only have a Hiby R3 II to test while the DX26O lands, despite this, I can appreciate that it is a top level iem.

I wanted to ask in general what cables and tips you have used to get the maximum potential of the low range, so far the Final Type E seem to be effective in that department and I have ordered an cema 8-wire copper cable since I think I have read that impact benefits from this type of configuration in cables.

I would like to hear your opinions! :)

Congratulations. I'm not a fan of the stock cable, too mid-centric and focus on vocals. I pair it with the Penon Totem and it has a fantastic synergy. More vivid, better bass texture and more spacious. My unit is a CIEM, so I can't make any comments about eartips. Here's my impressions.

I'm not a big fan of type-E or narrow mouth tips to encourage bass. In fact, they cut the treble, giving the false impression that they enhance the bass. The Impact is not going to be a basshead IEM, and I prefer not to mask the details and texture of the bass. I also didn't like the stock cable for the Impact. In my case, and after multiple tests, I opted for the EA Code 23 and the Dunu S&S. Another good option, somewhat cheaper, that I had before code 23, is the moondrop shirokawa.

So I've been messing around with some EQ's lately for the Quattro's. Although they sound great with their stock tuning, I wanted to make a few adjustments and try to push the technical chops of these quality drivers. And with some help of AutoEQ and some of my own personal touches, I came up with this and just had to share! :) I know its a lot of adjustments (24-band PEQ) but I would be lying to you if I said ALL of them didnt play a crucial part in dialing into these and making them sound completely and utterly fantastic. Ive been making EQ's for all my headphones for quite some time now, but I feel like this is the one Im most proud of. It essentially transforms the Quattro's. Try to utilize all 24 bands if you can. If you have something like the Qudelix 5K, then you're gonna have to sacrifice 4 of these - so Id probably just get rid of the ones that make the least adjustments and highest Q values. I have this EQ on all the time and its hard going back to stock tuning. Give it a shot. You wont be disappointed! Enjoy!

The truth is that I don't like Final E either but until I get DX260 it is the only way to balance Impact since R3 II can sound quite thin and bright, I usually fall for intermediate hole tips like the Kbear 07 that they provide a very good balance or something like the Spinfit W1, however I will consider all the cable options, thank you!
