Serial for sure, FAN2 is more detailed and comes off more fatuiging with bad recordings.Hello everyone,
Between the Serial and the FAN2, which one do you think is better for punk and bad recordings?
I have the H50 and I suspect the FAN2 sounds similar.
Greetings and thanks!

SerialHello everyone,
Between the Serial and the FAN2, which one do you think is better for punk and bad recordings?
The 50s are more holographic, but less detailed compared to the F2sI have the H50 and I suspect the FAN2 sounds similar.

The Serials are better than the 50s in holo. imaging, size and scale wise. The Bass is also better on the Serials.
For mids, they can trade punches, but the Serials will win in the end.
The 50s are more treble detailed though, not only amplitude - but detail, resolution, extension. Serials can't touch this...
Thank you very much, I will go for the Serial then!
Still very interested in getting the H50, let's see if there is coming sale soonSerial

The H50 has a lot of detail in the treble but manages not to become sibilant at any time.Still very interested in getting the H50, let's see if there is coming sale soon![]()
The bass is a little low in my opinion.
Good scene.
Comfortable (for me) and with very good isolation.
And the best for the end: absolutely impressive mids (what guitars!!!!).
Highly recommended.

This will complement your EST50, I'm quite sure.Still very interested in getting the H50, let's see if there is coming sale soon![]()
Nothing, between the ISNs and the Penon range overlap each other with regard to their tuning properties as well as their technical capabilities...
I were actually thinking about changing out my H30 at work for the H50, nothing very wrong with H30. Just want some more body to the sound and the H50 seems so special in the lineup. Going then to have with me FAN and H50.This will complement your EST50, I'm quite sure.

Also after having tested so much of the ISN and Penon, most other brands seems to lack soul in the tuning. There is exceptions ofcourse.
Took with me the Shozy today to decide if it's going or not, but it's goodbye. Been in a drawer for half a year

The Space is Far Out, man!!!

Literally, metaphorically.

I paired with the Globes, there is indeed a stage expanding effect.

More to come...

I have looked at this cable a few times, but never pulled the trigger. Might pull the trigger then, not sure which model I will pair it with yetBut I have been interested in trying a cable with some gold added in.
Or you could go straight for the Obsidian when the sale rolls around

Tbh I’ve known about cables with gold in them for a long time but never seriously considered a use case for them until the Impact and its stock cable arrived.
I just emailed Penon (hotmail ftw) and asked them if the Leo (non Plus) was available in 4.4.
I recall someone else asking for this as well. I do wish they’d consider offering OG Leo in 4.4 (or at least offer reterminating it on request). It may be an older model cable but it’s not dead yet.

No it's totally different from the stock black bore and clear tip.@s2kphile is the penon orangr tip same as the stock black bore / clear tip? i find the black bore tip has more the bass and lower mid while maintaining the smooth treble comapred to the spinfit w1 which seems airier
Orange tip impressions, pleaseThe Space is Far Out, man!!!

I'm sure they can if you ask. I was able to get Totem, Solar, Impact cable terminated with their 4.4mm Purple Copper plugI recall someone else asking for this as well. I do wish they’d consider offering OG Leo in 4.4 (or at least offer reterminating it on request). It may be an older model cable but it’s not dead yet.
