What are some of your preferred ear tips for the Volt?

Azla Xelastec. Bought some more of the stock TWS style foam tips but lost them lol. There’s considerably less foam on them so the treble is relatively unaffected compared to standard sized foams.

He's getting it today. :)
On local Fed Ex delivery truck this AM, I’m actually home and put a signed release on the the door just in case, delivery date suddenly changed to tomorrow 😡.

Edit: Fed Ex is just messing with me I guess.

Look again. It's been delivered!
Yeah, I had to run and sign for it, but it was someone in regular clothes and their own personal vehicle that ultimately delivered it. 🤷‍♂️ That was odd outside of a same day Amazon delivery.

This is one of my all-time favorite albums. What do you think of it on the Volt?

It’s early on in my listening to the Volt, and I’m still getting accustomed to the sound, but the best way I can describe the overall sound is “high resolution analog”. All the micro detail is there, but presented an a very natural and organic manner.

Some analogies: It’s like a high quality 40 megapixel digital image with only a little sharpening applied vs the same imagine with a lot of sharpening applied. “Sharpening” a digital image doesn’t increase resolution or detail, it just increases acutance, and gives the appearance of a sharper and more exciting image. While that can be nice, if overdone, its starts to look unnatural. While the Volt may at times seem to be lacking “bite”, upon further listening, I actually think it ultimately sounds more realistic. When listening to a band IRL, you hear the sounds as they reach you ear, along with echos, reverberations, and some smearing. You don‘t actually hear a band as if your ears were pressed right up to each instrument simultaneously, in a close miked fashion. That is exciting sounding, but not natural.

Excels in naturalness and coherency of sound? As of this moment, that's how I hear my Orb.
