Stop posting twice repeating the same earphone when I wanted portable headphones. Do you not know the difference? Jeez...

If you look up hypocrite in the dictionary, you'll now see a picture of Voltage

portapros for audiophiles

K518 for audiophiles under 20 (we like more bass)

Without a doubt the Sennheiser HD25.
They isolate, are stronger than The Hulk, pack some serious bass punch and you can recable them by just plugging in a different cable.
The sound is very enjoyable, a little like the SE530 with more highs and a little more soundstage.
But if you're on a tight budget, take the AKG K518 like z50j said. Nothing beats them under $100 for punch, portability and reliability. With a better cable, they just won't break

Last time I checked voltage is invisible. It is simply the force and speed of a current flow.

Since you are a big Shure fan, you should check out their new line of closed full size headphones. One of them apparently has the sonic qualities of SE530's, but with better treble. When I first read about it, I thought it had your name written all over it.

I would say the HD25-1's, and they are semi portable. I bought mine 11 years ago, and at the time there weren't many high-end portable options.

I'm fairly certain that can't be said about many cans with that kind of amazing sound quality!

I think we have a winner!
