Looking good

Have you observed any noticeable change in the sound signature?

Sound changes are nowhere near proportional to the price but everything just seems a bit more right and the whole setup is just lovely and musical. Build to listen to and swim away in the music, not to analyze it. And pride of ownership and love of craftmanshio is very high.

Labkable in Hong Kong made a great cable for the Sony. I demoed four different cables made by them and their Silver/Gold cable blew me away.

USD 720 for the Axios seems like a good deal, 2m long I guess?

Looked at their website and they ask for USD 830 with shipping within US :frowning2:
Wonder if Jason ship oversea, as there are no retailer for KK Axios cable in my area

I think if you are discussing prices, especially if below manufacturers suggested retail price, that it should be done via PM.

Just saying

I have no idea what retail price might be nor am I aware that I was given any special deal that had to be hushed up

What you got is a short thin rope made of OFC copper wire. This art is common in each and every habour around the globe. Only that these guys dont use copper wire. So it's not revolutionary technology. They do it well, the raw material cost a joke, they add some nice plugs and earn a fortune. If you like it, that's ok.

Indeed and I do like it. My view is not quite as bleak as yours.

does anyone have recommendation on the travel case besides the pelican case for the audeze-s?

I personally found the case for Mrspeaker Ether Flows works really well. You do have to take off the cable though but that doesn't really bother me.

My cheap $3 plastic case. Headphone fits inside and I can stand on it. 3 bucks.
