The G-Cush on the 325's is a HUGE improvement. Helps the bass and improves the soundstage slightly. It also gives just an over all better sound and is much more comfy. I couldn't even tell you where my stock pads are anymore since I haven't used them in 2 years.

Do the G-cush last as long as the stock pads? Actually, I have no idea how long the stock pad would last for me, but I've read that washing them helps.

Never washed mine but I've been using them well over a year and all is good.

Had mine over two years.  Washed them recently, just because.

I've had mine for more than a year now and just love the sound that they put out.

I've (as many others) had comfort issues with them but after adding the G-cush pads and a cheap headband they are now also very comfortabe:)

My serial number: 7445

Just got some 325is phones in.  How much break-in should I expect?

Not a lot of break-in required.  They are what they are and I love 'em.

Congrats to all the new smart owners.

They are sounding much better now.  Less congested.  Very nice headphones.  I've now got one each of the Prestige line plus some RS-1is.  Now time to move onto the PS500.

I've been using the tape mod for a few weeks now, after reading the Inner Fidelity Grado Ear-pad mod article.  I recommend trying it.  It's possibly the easiest mod in the world, completely reversible with the right tape, and I love what it seems to be doing for the bass definition in my phones.

Just received my first pair of Grado brand cans! Got them on ebay for $220. They were gently used. Serial #2364. No box though.

I believe these have the truest sound of all the cans I own. Ultrasone Pro750; Ultrasone 2900(currently being repaired); Sony MDR-1; and Audio-Technica AD900's(bought from another Head-fier).

The soundstage is a bit lacking but they're definitely not colored in any way. I really dig this sound!
I believe as I use each of my cans I will be able to figure out which pair sounds best for each genre of music I own. I think so far that these will be really good for rock and prog rock. I found that the female vocals are a bit recessed for my taste. Male vocals sound perfect though. Guitars really crunch! Nice bass also...again true not colored.

I'm not sure how many hours burn in they have had so not sure if the sound will change much. So far so good!
