Hi, i'm a New user or the forum!
I've just bought a set of second hand of 325is in excellent conditions. I'm very pleased with the sound except the harshness in the trebles...i've already have a sr 60 for 15 years and a Ms1 that I liked a lot...
I am looking for a
amp/dac dongle to use with this Headphones with my smartphone to try to make it less harsch /too bright...
I've seen the Hidizs S3

Have a look at my mods to my SR325is (Grado Fan Club fourm).
New Grado flat pads.
Balanced 3.5mm sockets, and two holes in the driver dampening felt. I am very happy with the results out of the Cayin RU6, and the Fiio M11 Pro DAP Using Meze 4.4mm balanced cable.

I thought the L&P W2 sounded pretty good with my Grados. A little on the pricier side though. Not a dongle but, Ifi go blu might be worth a shot too.
Thank you for your reply. Yes the L&P seems to be very good but outside of my budget now. Maybe i could afford the Ifi go Blu soon...which seem to be very good too ! What do you think about the S3 pro ?

Never tried the S3 pro. I have the RU6 too but didn't find the pairing to be particularly good (unbalanced).

I find the Grados and Cirrus logic chip to sound really good together. Natural and organic. Which is why I suggested those options. When I had the W2 I liked it a lot with my modified 325i.

Same cable ,same issue. 4/8 conductor.
But 1000/2000/3000 use the 12 conductor cable.
seems more solid

Many find this headphone to be bright and even sibilant. I would suggest EQing them (treble frequency ranges) to your liking. Your device may have this feature or you may be able to download an app to accomplish the adjustment(s).

The Alessnadros (MS line) have traditionally been less bright than the Grado models upon which they are based.

It's an idea if battery and wireless comms with a smartphone are a must. Otherwise our GO Bar would work brilliantly with Grados!

oh I see. So maybe i'm gonna try the ifi go blu!
I also found on a website, a Nuprime Hi mdac which also have Cirrus Logic chip inside and is cheaper than the Ifi but maybe not as good...
My third option is the Qdelix 5k which seems to have a lot of possibilities to equalize his sound so it can adapt his color to a lot of different Headphones....I think i'm gonna try the Ifi go Blu and the Qdelix to see .

I'd also recommend Moondrop MoonRiver 2. Never heard it myself, but seems to get good reviews and falls within your budget. I never heard Nuprime, but I trust Moondrop as a brand. They make excellent IEMs.

Thanks for your reply...its seems to be a good bargain but this brand is not easy to find in France unfornutaly but I keep the name and I hope to find one later!
Easiest to order from US. Earmen and ifi is a good option
