Which store? If you are talking about 64 audio there are two stores in Berlin. You can find them via the website of the German distributor for 64 audio at 64audio.de. I personally went to Hörakustik Schmutzler because they also have JH, VE, UE and a few others for comparison.

The 18t (apex m15) do have a tiny bit too much warmth for my taste...

wow...that's an impressively thin appetite for warmth, sir!

you don't mean m20, right?

what about trying the 13 module from fir?

It might be something to do with the tips or source, because the U18t is one of the least warm IEMs I've tried personally, and certainly the brightest of the 64 U lineup, even with the M20 module imo

The U18t I found to be very bright, but I think that has to do with my ear canal too. The A18t I found to be very neutral, with a touch of warmth maybe - so if you're experiencing what I'm hearing when I listen to the A18t, I'd agree on warmish/neutral

I did get the seal but not the depth of insertion and I think that’s where it came from...

Correct. I sit at the other store. We do not have other CIEM brands, but if you want to meet a true Head-Fi'er, ex-reviewer for multiple sites including Headfonics, photographer for Chord, etc, you know where to find me.

I I am absolutely in love with the tia treble detail and it is not amiss with this model either. I can see the tia Trió to be the perfect IEM for somebody who says "I only have 40mins a day to listen to music. I want to make them count." But if you spend 4-6 hours on a trip, I think the flatter qdc might be preferred.

Our tastes differ with regard to bass, but I completely agree with you about the Trio's treble. Absolutely wonderful. I could listen to that delicacy and detail for four to six hours in a day easily. It's a whole different level from "sparkle".

For me, only foam worked, and I found Comply TX-500 to be better than the out-of-the-box foam tips. Any silicone tips were bright. I'm not sure if the Comply is deeper, but I think they're pretty similar. Either way, you might want to try them to see.

I sold my U18t a while ago so I think I’ll have to wait till the canjam to try that. 64 IEMs are generally designed to be used with foam I think (or for the most part in their ads they have them with foam tips), but I’ve always preferred the feel of silicone myself

I’m thinking of buying a Plussound Poetic cable to use with my Fourte (primary) and maybe U18t. Is there good advice on which wire material conducts best for those IEMs?

i like the look of the Poetic, it looks reasonably ergonomic and soft too?

To all of you... Just stop to buy ****ing universal. Customs are better in every way. You talking about tips and everything... Sorry being so extreme but what ... Just buy custom iems and stop all the freaking headache...
