Agree- I also have the u12t as well as the u18s and the u18s has the upper hand when it comes to texture/decay- I love it. It's also got incredible separation and imaging. I find the vocals a little less forwards, but the imaging is just diffused in a larger soundstage so it's easy to pick out different instruments/layering. I find the U18s the "linear" upgrade to the U12t as well, but can't seem to part with either at the moment.
Makes it only thougher for this guy ...

What DAP is everyone using?
For U12t I mainly use an iBasso DX300 Max Ti or Shanling M9. The DX3000 Max Ti is by far my preferred option though. It has an incredible synergy with U12t. M9 is warmer and more intimate sounding, but still a very good pair up overall.

For the Fourte Noir I use an A&K SP2000. I used the same DAP for the OG Fourte when I had that too. Another particularly great synergy because the SP2K has a tuning that pushes the midrange frequencies more forward in the mix, which to my ears balances out the odd Fourte/Fourte Noir mid dip.

Any recommendations for a DAC Dongle to use with an iPhone 13 plus and the A12t?

I’m looking at the dragonfly cobalt, Lotoo S2 and Cayin RU6. Anyone have any experience with these?

The apple lightning to 3.5mm cable is really good with the A12t. That's how I primarily use mine.

I am currently using Nio with RU6 via 3.5 NOS Low gain, 64 iems do not draw too much power from RU6 so RU6 can be easily used with any devices even an iPhone, and the sound is very organic.

Nice one if you ask me ... 👌
I went for a AK Kann Alpha
Arrives Friday normally
Nice! The Kann Alpha is a great sounding DAP, and apparently A&K have fixed the wifi compatibility issues they had with the previous firmware.

Has anyone tried the double flange tips from SpinFit?
