Anyone who's held off purchasing a 64 Audio CIEM 'til now should feel pretty, darn lucky. They just dropped these new abalone faceplates (free for a limited time too), and they look stunning:
hey, there’s me asking for a green abalone! Love the designs, I think the blue Nio one is still the best. If they offered that in a green and maybe a purple type color I legit think I’d buy another CIEM just to stare at it.

RAZ and I already specially ordered our IEMs with blue abalone a long time ago. So it was definitely already available for a while. The other two options don't really do it for me personally. But more choice is certainly a good idea so that more people can customize them to their preference.
Honestly if I were to buy another cIEM I'd probably go for Mother of Pearl or Zebra MoP. Or maybe a mixed set.
Or maybe even go for some of the wood options.

There is a Instagram soundcat_custom_gallery that show the CIEMS art work from Korea artists.RAZ and I already specially ordered our IEMs with blue abalone a long time ago. I wish I watch it before I design mine. :'(

Hi everyone !
After being a silent reader on this thread for a while, finally I decided to make an account and got my self Nio.
I have one question for @twister6 , on your review for Nio, you did tested it with Spinfit eartips, which type did you use ? CP145 ?
Thanks !

Looking forward to it!
Had U12T and tried MEST, and kept U12T.
Opportunity happened again months later, and this time the MEST sounded much different, and shell was rounder/ better fitting - and opted for MEST this time.
U12T is the more safe bet I’d say personally, but it also doesn’t have any intangibles really going for it besides imaging mastery.

Mest definately a funner tuning. Bass is bigger, even with the M20 modules in the U12T. EDIT: Maybe not, U12T with M20 is fairly boosted in the bass still. Using the smallest Azla tips that the Mest comes with on both, still bit big for my ears, but seems to seal ok.
Mest has the more interesting airy stage to it and more sparkly.
U12T only just put in. Feels more of the audiophile/reference tuning for sure.
Out of interest. Whats the next step up from these? I will be going customs, but want to find the right IEM sound / performance for me first. My current main can is the Empyrean, D8000 Pro before that. So some competition there for the IEM to live up to.

Kind of disappointed to find out the new silver premium cable is only available for universals.
Can't you use it with 2-pin customs? In any case I wouldn't worry. It's overpriced for what it is. Better quality/value available elsewhere IMO.Kind of disappointed to find out the new silver premium cable is only available for universals.

Kind of surprised that the premium cables have different pin sizes!Kind of disappointed to find out the new silver premium cable is only available for universals.
After all those years, this is the first time I am seeing this and coming officially from 64a.
I personally bought my A12t together with a premium cable and no one said I couldn’t use them together. I’m pretty sure lot’s of people did similar thing.

What's the best connector? 2pin or the ICX thing?
