Found the culprit it was the .trashes which is a hidden folder , I guess the previous owner used MAC to put music on it

I had the same issue when I updated my stock AK100 to the 1.33 firmware. A quick reboot fixed the library scan problem.

It doesn't scan, like it used to. but the music is there so there isn't a problem. I just don't understand where it is getting the information but in the end, it is working fine, showing all the new music.

So the music is updated without need of scanning? That seems like a good bug to got there

You bet. I don't get it but I am not complaining. I just don't understand what it is doing. Maybe mine operates in hyperspace.

The devices does have a CPU, technically it can be over-clocked .

I bit the bullet and ordered an AK100!
 
I'll use it for a while (probably with external amp - Tralucent T1) and then have it modded in future.
 
Very excited to finally be stepping up into the world of hi-res DAP. I love my 5G iPod, but really hoping this goes to a whole new level.

, but almost as exciting - I've been searching for an upgrade to my iPod / X7 combination of players (because neither was quite right for me) for ages (as spkrs can attest from all my messages with questions to him). Hopefully I've found the one... for now...

The volume knob is really a turn off >< and i dont want to spend another 40$+ just for a piece of plastic to protect it. Anyone found a solution on how to keep it safe?
