It is so strange on charging my AK100 MK2 with a Samsung micro-USB 700mAh charger....
I power off my AK100 and plug in the charger, then after a few hours, it keep charging. but when I unplug it and re-plug, it showed charged

May I know how you guys to charge your AK100? with your computer USB?

Sometimes it takes 2-4 seconds for the screen to change from "charging battery..." to "fully charged".

And i'm using the iBasso DX50's provided microUSB cable with my computer to charge my AK100. I have only tried 2-5 times to charge my AK100 from the wall socket with a Samsung S3 charger.

Just to be clear, i had a brief audition of the MH334. I don't own it. hahaha!

Anyway, like many pages ago, between the MK 1s, I still find my Gold sounded different from the default Black AK100.

Ah... Then you should get the MH334.

I have my eyes set onto C435 and the Hugo.

I won't quarrel with the C435.

Hmmm... I heard that the optical cables at Jaben couldn't actually connect with the Hugo's optical port because it is to far set in. How will you connect to the AK then?

I have attended the launch event... so there were VDH TOSLink cables available for me to use my AK100 as a transport.

Well other than Jaben who carry the Hugo, Audioline and Headphone Buddy are carrying it as well, in Singapore.

Indeed! I was thinking the AK100 would be the best transport for the Hugo.

Unfortunately, I was away when all the excitement happened.

Ah... I can't say I am familiar with the other stores

I believe they meant they'd be able to use their AK100 to demo the Hugo instead of whatever Chord had at their table.

But on the hugo, in terms of sq, it is said (according to those who own the hugo) that the coax input is superior to the other inputs, therefore the ak100 can't possibly be the best transport (sq wise) for the hugo.

Using toslink out from the AK100, the AK would be only the music store. Even the internal DAC would be bypassed. So the issue of SQ of the AK becomes irrelevant. That's what I understand about toslink out. :)

But there are down sides to using TOSLink... hahaha.

I think I'm done with this thing. I still can't figure out why SOME music I copy onto the micro SD cards show up on the player and some don't.. they are all the same format (FLAC). Incredibly frustrating having a $700 player on which I can't listen to 1/2 of my music.
