I would get the ES700 first and see how you do with the stock pads but it usually takes a day or so to figure out they are not the most comfy pads on these cans.

Just wondering the actual size of these. Usually I can google headphones and you see pics of people wearing them...I guess these are too new or something. Are these like the DT1350 in size? Much larger?

Could somebody with a C&C BH/e11/portable amp comment on how much it improves the e700s? 
 
Straight out of a macbook/phone, I'm not sure if I prefer these over the m50. It may be that I more often prefer the laid-back signature of the m50 vs the aggressive, forwardness of the es700, but on some tracks the m50 has a certain dimension of depth that isn't there es700.

Is there a big difference after a burn in with these?
 
I just got them, they're quite comfortable, but they feel a tad weak. I found the treble great, but it lacked a punch in bass...hopefully a burn in will help?

Haha, they actually fit really well. I would say they're slightly larger than the beats solo on my ear.
 
At first, I thought they were really comfortable, but after 20-30 mins, my ears started hurting..now i know why they recommend getting other pads.
 
They also started to break in after 3 hours or so of play (I left them playing while I was working then put them on again).

No. I don't think so. My ESW11LTD pads didn't fit. I believe the size is pretty similar for the woodies (ESW9, ESW10JPN and ESW11LTD).

I bought mine for about 112 AUD (incl. shipping) on amazon.jp before the price dropped. I had to use a forwarding service to get it into Australia though, Tenso is a pretty good option, they charged me about 2170 Yen in total for EMS shipping from their warehouse.
