wow, shocking poll... the only one of those I ever really heard is Miles Davis. (it´s also the only one of them that won´t make me wanna ram a screwdriver into my ears) Consequently that´s what I voted for.

btw: why´s MOP missing?

There's some stiff competition on that list, but The Dark Side of the Moon surely has the most iconic album art, at least in the USA. Everyone has seen that cover, even if they don't know exactly what it is!

Not the most iconic or famous, but pretty important and I think will be more iconic and famous in the future.

I voted for DSOTM. Not only has it sold a trillion copies, it also continues to sell year after year, so many younger people know it, even if it was released long before they were born.

And an honorable mention, probably best known to people, ahem, of a certain age (click to see larger version):

I'd say DSOTM is definitely my top

voted on DSOTM because it was the first cover I could think about

funny to see there is just one Pink Floyd cover jumping out while the Beatles come close in numbers but have it divided along Sgt Pepper and Abbey Road.

I know there is just one PF cover to vote... but no other cover is as memorable (maybe Animals or WYWH but nowhere close)
