Just went through the whole thread…my first thought was Dark Side Of The Moon, second Abbey Road.
 
There's another that was also kinda everywhere when I was young, though.

That's a famous and iconic news photo. It won a Pulitzer.  But IMHO not an appropriate use of the image to use on a commercial album cover.  Putting that image on an album just for shock value belittles or disengages (what is the word I'm looking for?) the photo from the news and events that surrounded it.  Using that image as part of a news story or history book is proper.  Using that image on a t-shirt or album cover is not.  It's enough of an abuse of the image that I refuse to even listen to the album.
