Ok, so let's try to be unbiased towards our favorite on the list, and just vote for what we think is the most iconically famous cover art in the history of albums.....I will put up a list of 9 which I think could fit the bill, however, of those 9 probably there will be 3 or 4 standouts....

Honorable Mentions go out to:

Elvis Presley - Elvis Presley
The Clash - London Calling
The Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers
Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin
The Sex Pistols - Nevermind The Bollocks

Or just about any 50-60's Blue Note cover. I find Blue Note as a whole more iconic than Columbia's Kind of Blue.

DavidMahler - your PM box is full. Make some room.

That said, for me - it's Sgt. Pepper's!

this has nothing to do with musical preference! one look at that prism, and anyone can identify it within a millisecond

Dark Side of the Moon by far.

After that, Led Zeppelin I. Even though it was a horrific event, the cover was genius and a perfect F U to their doubters.

By the way, the cover for Led Zeppelin IV sucks hard.
