Ok, so let's try to be unbiased towards our favorite on the list, and just vote for what we think is the most iconically famous cover art in the history of albums.....I will put up a list of 9 which I think could fit the bill, however, of those 9 probably there will be 3 or 4 standouts....

DSOTM and Abbey Road were the two that immediately came to mind.

Abbey Road would be a close second for me in terms of iconic cover art. "Dark Side Of The Moon" is, without question, the most iconic cover art ever. I think that the first Led Zeppelin Album is more "iconic" than the fourth album.

Or just about any 50-60's Blue Note cover. I find Blue Note as a whole more iconic than Columbia's Kind of Blue.

After that, Led Zeppelin I. Even though it was a horrific event, the cover was genius and a perfect F U to their doubters.

By the way, the cover for Led Zeppelin IV sucks hard.
