The D7000 is...luurvely. You couldn't pay ME to swap out those beautiful mahogany cups. Much better looking than the LA7000 cups, IMHO.

i think the akg701s are probably the most beautiful headphones to me. its like new world meets old. the clean white mixed with the electronicness. hard to describe, but i love them
