The stock tips and how they fit in your ears will affect sound quite a bit.....  Proper seal with a good tip is the most important....

I couldn't agree more. I tried these with a few tips, and at first I was disappointed with the bass response.... then I found some larger tips for my big ol' ears. The bass increase was very noticeable now that I have a good seal. Has anyone tried these with the comply foam tips? I'm curious how they sound with them and if they're worth the investment (more than the ear bud itself, lol).

Another question, the highs are what I consider to be a bit harsh right out of the box. Do these soften a bit with time?

I am thinking of buying the flagship IEM of the maker of MEP-933 which is the OVC here in China. It costs almost triple the price of mep-933. I just hope the SQ is also triple that of mep-933

I've got to give credit to DSnuts and his budget threads.  This one I didn't believe at all, until I saw Jokers review of them-7.5??  Wow, I'd get these, but I don't need another set of earphones, maybe a beater set to protect my customs..

I just got back from running, and I decided to bring these out from the abyss where I left them and give them a listen for old time sake.

Damn.

Honestly Dsnuts, of all your finds this one takes the cake and belongs in the head-fi hall of fame.

Lol!. Ya. I just hope one of these days whomever that created these make a newer better version. I would literally pay double!. Maybe even triple... I was thinking if there is a brave soul out there in earphone land that might want to try n reshell these with lets say a driver from the Philips She3580 for the sub bass. Dual custom she bang! Got my mind on them dual dynamic ASG-2s..

Once again I can only agree with you all,  the MP's still keeps amazing me every time I use them at the gym. So cheap, but decent quality sound to work out to and not having to worry about breaking a sweat or the MP's!  The ASG-1 coming my way as well.

I wish they looked a little more low profile.

I'm thinking of ordering another set of the Mp8320's - but wondering how they compare to these creative's
Anyone have any ideas?

(for a twitter follower btw :D)

Yep I do....totally different class. The ep-630 is veiled and muddy in comparison, I don't use them at all any more.....they're are stuffed at the back of my wardrobe somewhere. Everything is better with the MP's.
