The stupid thing is the x2 (at £18.00) fits me better then the x10i (got for £156.00).  Thats with the same (different) sleeves.  Fed up with fit issues so thinking about getting them reshelled along with a triple fi or westone 2 that I also have fit issues with.  Always the right ear.  :(

Can you elaborate on this "reshelled" thing for me?
I've got a pair of Shure 420 and one side has been chewed up by our puppy? :(

Do a search for unique melody or fisher hearing (inearz).  Both have threads on here that should be useful.  In a nutshull you get ear impressions done by a local audiologist, send iems and impressions to either of the above, wait x amount of weeks for them to come back and hey presto you have a set of customs.

Look at Unique Melody since I believe they are an Australian company

Just to be slightly pedantic, Unique Melody are a china based company with an official australian reseller to help with communications.

Cheers.

I sold my pair of X10`s here to "Old Hooky" for £100 I think, he sold them last year for £90 or £95.

Anyways, I remember them for just shove them in and away you go. I know they do not have as much bass as my IE8`s or MTPC but I can get hold of a new pair for about £100.
Being that they half of the normal retail price I may just buy them again just to compare with what I have. I would think reselling wouldn`t be a problem.

This time around they would be amped. Suppose it is a no brainer.

Well my "no brainer" £100 for the X10`s arrived this morning by special delivery (included in price).

Sometimes Ebay can be your friend. hooked up to amp, large silicones on, jubbly :)

Mark me down as a fan. I haven't found another universal that is as comfortable to wear or fits my small ears as these, and it also has the bass that I like. Do they strike you guys as "dark" when you listen to them? They seem to color the music a bit, but at least it's in a direction that I enjoy :)

Seems we like the direction.

Had a few days with these X10`s (not i) again. Stunning with my setup. Radiohead`s "In Rainbows" album is plain fantastic.

See thats the reason I originally bought them.  Figured these at least would solve the fit issue that I always have in the right ear.  Nope not a hope.  Getting em reshelled.  From what I did manage to hear I did quite like them and was amazed at the type of bass coming from the size of the shells.  Only down side to them is the fragile looking cable.

Cheers.

I love my x10i. I'm always amazed at the sound that comes out of these tiny things. But most of all I love how easy these come in and out of my ears when I'm on the go. I have some other IEMs I use at home but when I'm out, these are definitely top!

I just got these in the mail recently and have been giving them a good listen.  I will post a longer evaluation soon but just wanted to respond to the comment above - Yes, these definitely do seem 'dark' to me.  I don't find the bass particularly punchy or detailed enough for me.  I'll give them a few more days but I'm pretty sure these will be going back and some 1964-EARS Quads are in my immediate future.

They are probably the most comfortable universals I've ever auditioned, I'll give them that.

For the uk'ers here amazon seem to drop the price down to around £145 at the weekends atm.  Considering the retail price is £230 that's not a bad saving!
