thank you for the fast answer
anyone can suggest me a comfortable pads ?

I thinks the ATH WS55 pads should be the best in terms of sound and comfort if you just want to slightly deviate from the S500s stock sound. The big over ears HM5 pads change their sound too much, leans out the bass, so you will have to do other mods to get the bass back.

I would just get the WS55 pads direct from ATH USA for ~$10 shipped. I have them on my ES700s and they are great in terms of comfort and sound, never tried it on my S500s cuz don't want to mess up my godly HM5 modded set. :)

Well I couldn't resist :D I've been going around quite a lot and my cheap IEMs cannot satisfy me, though they have a LOT of bass. I prefer quality bass tqvm.

Also not because just the bass, the overall clarity and sound sig is nice.

Yeah, If you're a basshead the last thing you would want to do is stick hm5's.

I learned the hard way :s

The Hifimediy Sabre DAC can be had at 49$ shipped, and it's much better that E7.

Mines defective at times, I have to unplug and reconnect it because it just disappears from my sound list.

Also when I go to my recording options in sound it just completely freezes unless I disable the dac.

Other than that, It's fantastic for 49 dollars. Took like 3 weeks to get mine though...

I've had an audiengine d1 that I used as a dac and headphone amp and I personally think that the hifi sounds better.

One of my 3 Sabre DACs used to disconnect too, but it stopped. I think it was caused by having too much power draw from different USB ports.

It doesn't have any option to record the sound, it's an output only device - may be that's why Windows is getting confused.

Thanks for this - the set I have coming has the stock pads and HM5's as well.  I don't do on ear so have to figure a way to get the bass with the HM5 pads.
