or, just not so many really listen to the S770;
or, nobody really give S770 a good burn in?

LoL, don't even bother with the S770s, they seems like complete duds despite having a carbon nanotube driver, etc. Plus they just look like some repackaged old JVC gear that has been released like couple of times with only a newly added driver. They weren't built/ designed from the bottom up like the CNT JVC S500/S400s.

Don't waste your time and money on those S770s.

Anybody here has the link to where I can buy a pair of ath leathers? Thanks

Not exactly sure if it is these, cuz i remember the old seller sold them as only one set. But this is a good deal for 2 sets.

For the price range of $40 these are excellent headphones. However, I'm wondering if there are any better headphones in the price range of $100-$200? Portable over ear headphones.

If you want portable over-ear then I would look in to the WS99s.

It's because the CKN70s are better :p

The FXD80s have plenty of full bass after burn in, but on open box it sounds very clicky.

Was debating those, but ATH IEM's have not historically fit well in my ears.  I went back to the Phillips IEM's everybody is using the tips from on the 70's and they were irritating my ears quite a bit.  I may look into them later, but now that the ATH CKX9's have been announced, I'm waiting to see how those compare.  Especially since they have a much better cable design on them.

The FXD80s have the best seal I have ever experienced with the stock tips. With most IEMs I have to mess with it a little bit to get a perfect seal, with the FXD80s I literally just place it in my ear and the seal is phenominal.

Neither the M100 nor the WS99 were a real upgrade to these for me. I guess i'll just invest the money in an amp with bass boost capabilities. Is there anything cheaper than the FiiO E12 that does the job? Seems kind of absurd to buy a 130$ amp for 50$ phones, but if it's worth it..
