I guess JH16 is made to recover this flaw. is it better than a electrostat now?
Does it mean JH16 has more accurate bass, more distinct background low extension.

PS: I was thinking for a 3 high, 2 mid, 3 low.

Why not just make it 4-4-4? Two TWFK size drivers, Two DTEC sized drivers, and TWO 3300 sized drivers. It'd fit into an average adults ear....

It isn't far away in price from the JH 13, I have an impression, everyone will just skip the JH 13's ,may be it will get discontinued, sure that everyone would be ready to spend the extra $50.00.

I thought JH16 would be 3-2-3, but its a 2-2-4. I was looking for a high,high,high-mid,mid,mid,mid-low,low,low,low.
Fitear suyama 668 is still hiding. 4-4-4 would be a year end thing I assume.
Lets see what westone is coming up with. 3-3-2?

PS: I have small ears.

I don't think a triple bore could squeeze in my inner canal. anyway are you planning on a 4-4-4 project?

thats not true, its not "better" in the absolute sense, its just different. just look at UE, when they released the UE11, many people still bought the 10's.

Westone should respond with an ultra high end ONE (1) or 2 driver design and stop this ridiculous "more is better" marketing.

I believe more drivers are for a reason, ideally, every music instrument, every sound in a recording should have their own dedicated driver

with all these new thread about the 18 and 16 popping up i cant really kep them straight, but its been said earlier, less is more when it comes to crossovers lol so a different drive for each frequency, or at least more drivers to spread the frequencys out may not always produce better sound. though i guess all these designs are still 3 way

Just when UE announced the 6 driver UE18, JH quickly does a one up with two more drivers and a triple bore config.

Wrong. The UE18 is triple bore.

I read that too on UE's site, but according to jude in the first post so are the JH16's:

Wow, surprised JHAudio has a new flagship model this close to releasing the JH13. I keep thinking IEMs can't possibly sound better, but with each upgrade they do. Interested to hear impressions of UE18 and JH16, for now I'm still in love with my JH13s.

It is not a rare thing for Jerry to do. The same situation occurred with the ue-10 and ue-11 one was more focused towards audiophile/neutrality and one was more focused towards being fun or bassy.

Am I the only one who understand things in this way???
'JH16 designed for performers on stage whereas JH13 for audiophiles'

I am just wondering why people keep saying the JH16 to be the new flagship of JH lineup and would be the only one to compete with UE18...

Jerry did state clearly on Facebook about the differences between JH13 and JH16.
