Default iAudio 7

I don’t own a D2, but I do own the i7 and it’ great! BTW, my friends that own the D2 love it, I think you’re wrong about the "cold" sound signature, it could have a lot to do with what iem’s you use, and it’s nice to have SD/SDHC card slot for unlimited expansion.

The more I use my i7, the more I love it here’s a quick summary IMO:
On the plus side:
  • Almost instant on, < 5 seconds fully loaded w/tunes
  • Sound quality (produces very good detail with a nice warm sound)!!!
  • JetEffect - various EQ and Sound Effect settings (BBE)
  • Amp (good power) 26mW + 26mW, 16ohm, rated at 52mW
  • Great Audio support (Mp3, WMA, ASF, OGG, FLAC, and WAV (~48KHz Stereo))
  • Display: 262K Color 1.3” 160 x 128 pixel LCD
  • Flash & Capacities: 4GB, 8GB &16GB
  • Size (nice and small, pics don’t do it justice)
  • Build Quality is excellent - for example, I’ve had mine over 6 months without a case and it looks as good as the day I bought it...btw, I prefer the naked look on a dap...
  • UMS/MTP user selectable
  • ID3 or File browsing
  • Battery life

On the down side:
  • IMO – the screen size is too small for me, which makes the fonts hard to read
  • Sensitive UI & interface - (I adapted in the 1st day, so this is a non-issue for me) and you can adjust the sensitivity in the fw
  • Some peps say one handed operation is hard, but it can be done
  • No SDHD slot for expansion

Overall it’s a great player...well worth the investment
