Open Your DX50 and just solder pins again with soldering iron, it`s easy fix.

Hi All, I've just joined this forum as I am waiting delivery of an iBasso DX50. Just wanting to know, based on the experience of users here, which firmware should I use ? I'll be using it mostly with a pair of Beyerdynamic T51p's. I listen to all types of music, but mostly rock, blues and jazz.
Thanks

Get the last firmware, you get a nearly flawless interface and a fairly neutral sound =) (opinion biased the line-out and fiio e12a)

Seems like You forgot to set DX50 from settings » advanced » USB settings to DAC mode.

hi guys my dx50 audio jack is very loose now, audio often cuts off if moved abit and the jack is damn loose, any ideas how to fix this? not covered under warranty anymore

Go to a phone repair shop ot send it to ibasso.they charge 10 usd for repair,22 for the way back plus the cost for sending it there...and time,a lot of time.best option is the first one!!just some resoldering problem I guess!

Pretty sure I did.

Have you actually installed the drivers to your computer? You have to have both updated firmware as well as updated computer drivers. You have to go to the iBasso website and download the "DX50/DX90 USB-DAC Driver for Windows OS Ver1.1"; it shouldn't take more than a few seconds to install, and it also comes with a PDF file that instructs you on how to do it.

Here is the link to the website: http://www.ibasso.com/download.php

Good luck.

One thing that actually recently noticed about the USB DAC function is that there is a small but noticeable bit of latency concerning audio and input. For example, when I tried to play a game of Counter Strike on my computer with the USB DAC function going, the audio sound effects were just a bit behind the actual input. So, if I shot a round from my pistol, I would see the shot on my 1ms response monitor, but then I would hear the sound a little bit later.

This doesn't affect non-interactive media very much at all, but I actually refrain from playing CS with my DX50 running as a USB-DAC. Hopefully this can be fixed or something. Perhaps I configured the game incorrectly as well.
