  So I bought my dx50 a couple months ago. Recently it sounds like the right earphone (dunu dn 1000) loses half the sound volume. And I'm pretty sure the issue is the dx50 as it doesn't seem to happen with other sources (computer). Has anyone had this happen? I'm not sure what to do.

 
If you think it's the DX50 contact their support with your warranty card info ready. They'll give you an RMA and fix it. IF you bought it off amazon they'll have you send it to their office in Cali I think it is. IF you bought it off their website, be prepared to send it to Shanghai China

As head-fi member i guess you have more than one pair of headphones to connect to your dx90 to hear if it is the player or the heaphone.
I don't know if you're aware of the "balance" settings of the player. Is it really centered? Maybe someone else played around with settings?

I see. I've been thinking to use it as a DAC permanently, rather than temporary. I've been wondering if I would be fine with it.

Hello. I am hoping someone here can help. I am trying to use single file FLACs with a cue sheet on my DX50. I am using the XLD software, on a Mac, to produce the FLAC and the cue sheet. The FLAC plays fine but the cue sheet is not being recognised by the DX50. I contacted iBasso and they were very helpful and asked me to send them a cue sheet. They sent it back with a lot of the info cut out. And it worked! the DX50 listed all the different tracks. So I tried to do my own again (for a different album). Produced the FLAC and the cue sheet. Opened the cue sheet and deleted all the stuff that iBasso had deleted. Uploaded it to the DX50. It didn't work. 
 
So I contacted iBasso again. Sent them the cue file again.They sent it back. It worked! Plus I couldn't see any difference in the text in their version of the cue file and mine. But theirs worked and mine did not.
 
So... does anyone here have any idea what I am doing wrong and how I can do it right?

  Hey guys, I have a quick question. I have finally bought dx50 and it will be delivered in a couple of days. My question is, since my budget has been stretched a bit, does it make sense if I sell my Fiio E10k and use dx50 as a dac in my desktop setup? I am thinking dx50 should be as good as fiio e10k, if not better.

I've never used them on the DX50 but I know others who have. Run it on high gain and it should be fine.

I have just received DX50 and it is well beyond my expectations. I never thought the difference between my smartphone (I know, I know) and DX50 would be so noticeable. And I think it drives HD650 just fine. I am so pleased with my purchase and I think it's time for Fiio E10k to go.

Yeah. Next will be HO opamp upgrade probably. Though, every time I improve my DX50 I think it can`t get much better

My DX50 is probably pretty far from stock DX50 SQ by now.

So... does anyone here have any idea what I am doing wrong and how I can do it right?

Have you looked if the difference is in the forward slash "/ ... \" ?.
Our DX50 does not understand "\", if you see "/".

Go for the E11k, is way better amp than the DX50 integrated amp, also powerful enough for your HDs
