ormus, I thought You already knew and tried it. Would have recommended to do so. Well, at least Your unit is OK now ![Wink  ](https://cdn.head-fi.org/e/people/wink.svg)
Hi, I wrote to iBasso and they gave me the following instructions to get into recovery mode, which for some reason they don't seem to have included in the manual:
1, press and hold both of the power and vol+ buttons for 5 second, then you can entry the recovery mode.
2, use the vol+ and vol- to move the highlight to "wipe date/factory reset".
3, click the power button to select.
So I had to wipe internal storage and settings but at least it now works.
I would argue that they don't really have to, since the device is based on the Android OS. Here the recovery procedure on a non rooted phone/tablet/whatever is exactly the same.
You have a point though, the iBasso manual isn't all that great.....
Cheers.
When I connect DX50 to a Mac Mini, select audio device (rk2928sdk), and click play - turned off USB and Bluetooth. Detected one device - rk2928sdk. Tried on two computers - all same. And no music from DX50.
After you connected it - check the Audio Midi Setup on your Mac (it's an app that comes with your Mac).
If the DX50 is selected, unplug and replug the USB from the DX50, it happened to me too, just needed this extra step and worked fine.
Also make sure your volume join the DX50 is not too high otherwise you might blow your ears....
Cheers,
K
Same result... Turns off bluetooth and usb. Mac mini 2012, MacOS 10.9.4.
Besides that running 10.9.4 is pretty dangerous as only 10.9.5 has the latest security patches...?
Why not free update to 10.10.4?
Cheers,
K
