Do reinstall of the FW 1.2.8 and then a factory reset. Let us know.

DX100 does the same : my 24bit ALAC files display as 32bit. Oh well, as long as it plays...

Yes, the TDK ba200 sounds lovely out of the HO, and even better through the PB2.

However, since balancing my HE-500 cable it has been getting plenty of rest. Dx50→PB2 balanced HE-500 is an incredible ¿portable? solution.

Actually i find that the normal settings (EQ off) is the best for 4R. Provided that you're on an aftermarket cable. I used it with Fiio spc and results is really good. Stock Westone cable seems to veil the sound IMO. With Fiio spc, EQ off and mid-high gain it sounds really dynamic and without any veil or clouding of mids.
