I was on doc2008's 1.2.2 mix for a week, then on factory 1.2.8 for a week, now going back to doc's 1.2.2, I have to say that 1.2.2 is what made me fall in love with this player. The other fw's don't stack up with my ears. The vocals on v2 and the air around the music are a great addition with closed cans like my m100s

The air round the vocals is why I stopped using V2, it seems to weired and unnatural to me. Staying with stock 1.2.8 even though I miss the huge soundstage of V2

Fake. It's an 8GB drive hacked to report 512GB capacity. Real 512GB drives start at around $550, and never mind that Lenovo doesn't sell 512GB flash drives, yet.

Actually I just checked with the person who got it for me and apparently it costed $50 so it's probably fake as well, but it still had 499GB.

Much as I love the 1.2.8 sound I'm not happy with my DX50 as it freezes mid song nearly every day when out walking. I have factory reset many times, no music on internal memory, just well tagged 16bit flac on sd card. I just have to switch off and reboot and it is back to the previous days album. When it does work it is a fabulous little device but buggy as hell. I think I will have to get the Fiio X5 or Head Direct HifiMan HM-700.

It might say '499GB'  in proprieties but the real only way to tell is a Memory Tester App like:

It will test any Card/Disk by writing and reading back each and every bit and report how many are legit, all automatically. You should always test every memory card before you load it to save yourself from the "I got fu cked" feeling, not to mention the un-joy of it craping out half-way through a song or more.

Do you switch the lock slider on when you put it in your pants while walking about? The touch can be accidentally activated inside your pocket and could crash the UI.
